Deleting an OS Process

This topic describes the procedure to delete an OS process.

Before you begin this task:
You must have the role of systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin to delete an OS process.


Deleting an OS Process detaches the respective Service Containers and they run as individual JVMs.

  1. On CUSP > My Applications, click (System Resource Manager). The System Resource Manager window appears and lists the available Service Containers in the Service Containers App Palette.
    Note: Alternatively, you can click to view the existing Service Containers.
  2. Click in the App Palette. The Manage OS Processes dialog box appears.
  3. Select a Monitor Service from the drop-down list. Available OS Processes are listed in the OS Process - <Monitor Service Name> box.
  4. Select the OS Process you intend to delete and click . A confirmation message appears.
  5. Click Yes button.

    The selected OS Process is deleted.
